We are currently looking for a Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team! Do you have some HVAC installation experience and looking for a growth and learning opportunity? Then we want to hear from you!

Work Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday Friday with occasional Saturdays

Pay Rate: $13.00 – $17.00 HR/Depending on experience + Spiffs & Benefits

Position Summary: To install Residential heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass background check & drug screen
• Valid driver’s license & insurable driving record (no DUIs w/in past 5 years)
• 6 months + residential installation experience
• EPA universal Certificate or obtain within 6 months of employment
• Able to install Gas Pipe
• Able to install Refrigeration Pipe
• Able to install duct work
• Well organized and ability to work independently or as a team
• Comply with ALL SAFETY RULES
• Follow both written and verbal instructions
• Possess both written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
• Ability to complete mathematical calculations correctly
• Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to carry 100lbs overhead with assistance
• Willingness to invest in tools

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate in HVAC from trade school
• EPA Universal Certification
• 1 year or more of Residential Installation experience

Work Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday Friday with occasional Saturdays

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 HR/Depending on experience + Spiffs & Benefits

Job Description

A great local company, G+S Heating Air Energy Services has been serving Cabarrus, Rowan, and the Lake Norman communities for 59 years. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an individual to assist with our residential and service departments. We are a small business that cares about our employees.

As a Residential Helper you will assist a lead man in the installation of heating and air systems. When working in the service department as a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems. He/She must be comfortable working around heights and in tight spaces. Physical activity is required over the course of this job and almost all the work is done in unconditioned spaces subject to heat and cold.

No experience is necessary but being mechanically inclined is very helpful. Must be hard working and willing to take on additional duties during off seasons. G+S Heating Air Energy Services prides itself on keeping our promises to our customers and providing quality work with on-time project completion dates. This requires the individual to be on-time and available to work consistently.

Candidate must be able to pass drug test, background check, and driving record check.
